Qanon has a hell of a lot more claims than just the deep state. Like the literal blood libel. The ideas of the deep state - well beyond the basics I laid out - have existed for longer than Qanon has. OF COURSE they're going to be separate things.

And I don't think you know how to read a point without obsessing about if I agree that something exists or not. It's actually irrelevant. The point isn't does X label exist in some real world capacity. the chart is about the conspiracy theories to do with these things.

Another one, this time from the real category - Tuskegee Tuskegee is actually a place. If we start arguing over if it exists we'd be completely off base here. The entry is about the syphilis study done there. The conspiracy, not the place's existence.

There isn't a single unified deep state in the US. There is, however, plenty of unelected individuals and groups influencing politics even to the detriment of the people. Super-PACs, citizens united decision... but a unified deep state?
I'm literally just telling you that the reason it's where it is on the conspiracy thing is because of a (or multiple) conspiracy theories about it. Why is that so hard to grasp? fucking hell...
