My understanding is that the gap is about 4 IQ points which matches the expectation from the difference in brain volume.

Note that under ordinary circumstances, if there's selection in one sex, the other sex will follow; it's only if there is a cost that they wouldn't follow. Other than larger brains using more energy, I'm not sure what the cost of greater intelligence would be.

And if the larger brain part holds up, well, the implications for sex differences in intelligence are left to the reader.
