And because the differences in outcomes that are actually caused by hidden biological variables are 𝘯𝘰𝘵 caused by a sneaky attack from another group, you have a recipe for a 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙚𝙣𝙙.

If we believed in HBD we could at least in theory end the conflict and the problems. We could, for example, find was to change those hidden biological variables so that everyone had the same values. (@Bioliberalism ?)

I don't really like this solution (it destroys human values for an instrumental reason).

I think that a better solution is to redesign society to 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 of competition. High-stakes completion between humans where if you lose you can become homeless but if you win you get a yacht is bad and heavily incentivizes conflict.

High stakes competition provides an incentive for genocide and war. Medium-stakes competition where if you lose you get a yacht but if you win you get a really nice yacht is much better.

It is realistic in the long term due to technological change. In the short term things are more complex because you have to take economics and geopolitics into account, but even there the story is mainly about how artificial political constraints bind the economy.

A yacht isn't a yacht without women in their teens and twenties hanging around on it in bikinis and they don't do that unless the yacht signals winner in high stakes competition. If everyone has the prop then the competition goes back to what women desire - which is horrific

It doesn't even rise to the level of fantasy - it's just willful blindness. It's evolution denial really - declaring all humans the same so which ones have more surviving children doesn't matter. Evolution works off small differences and makes huge changes with them.
