You're very off base there in a way that's very easy to disprove. Takes very little time to write a script that crawls and indexes pages and stores the results and only a bit more time to put a query interface on top of that db yet no one does it - because it's not valuable
True but unimportant. Google is still driven to keep its products happy enough to not switch - there's no network effect for search. (Ignoring for now the principle agent problem within google where the wokeists would rather run google for the benefit of wokism than google)
