kindness is everything = full communism, where kindness is understood as maximally redistributing wealth to the poorest I am not ok with any of these slogans, they are all identical in their moral thrust

I think you're really reaching to make trouble out of a sign that was hung by a school secretary because the principal said, "we need this to be a print rich environment, let's find something nice and colorful!"

This is how the enemies of civilization operate, with one seemingly innocuous change after another. Each little concession always has plausible deniability, like, "surely you can't be against 'love is love', that's a tautology". But slogans have meanings beyond their mere words

"love is love" is a gay advocacy slogan, and only a malicious or profoundly ignorant person would deny this.

"kindness is everything" is also a philosophical stance, to which I and any sane person would object. Many things are as or more important that kindness: survival, integrity, honor, loyalty, family, and truth, just off the top of my head.

I actually thought you must be joking until I see all these people liking your comments. Yeah - I guess several of the lines on that poster could be interpreted in the most controversial way possible. (Except "science is real" you have to stretch HARD to make that problematic).

Not a reach at all - the ideology that that sign signals loyalty to has redefined "science" from a "does the result replicate" to "was the result approved by a committee of goodthinkers" - hence the replication crisis - a bunch of goodthinker approved results that don't replicate

Nah... If I'm joining you in looking for the leftist angle on this sign, it's not actually written to promote leftist values as much as it is a response to their perception of conservative values. When they say, 'science is real' they mean, 'believe in evolution dummies.'

They really don't mean that because "evolution is real" is a statement that's utter poison to the left - it entirely demolishes their absurd beliefs about race and sex differences.

Conservatives who "don't believe in evolution" have exactly zero harmful consequences to this belief. On the other hand, leftist disbelief in evolution is leading them to burn down cities in rage that reality keeps failing to live up to their beliefs.
