It's a performance, a display of athleticism. If you can do it, it won't make you stronger, more agile and it doesn't translate into any useful physiological adaptation. What it will do is badly eff up your body and buy your surgeon a new Tesla.

Put differently, getting one's deadlift up from 0 to bodyweight (a month of work for a detrained adult) is infinitely safer and more useful than anything else. And it does wonders for one's grip strength.
