Blocking a lot of enemies of liberalism today.
For example, if, as a store owner, I decide that my best interests are served by catering only to one race or if all neighbors agree to create a development that only allows people of one race to live there liberalism guarantees that because of freedom of association, right?

That would be illegal under state and federal law, but if we ignore that major detail: isn't it a fact that excluding vast swaths of the population from doing business with you wouldn't be in a store's best interest? Not to mention you'd get boycotted into oblivion.

As a committed liberal you should get right on protesting against those unconscionable laws. "It would lose money anyway" - the point of a market is that it satisfies to minority tastes but judging by the housing market it's not exactly a rare demand.

The Supreme Court’s assertion of “sincerely held religious beliefs IMHO was a bad decision. Personal beliefs should not be a domain or f the government. The contradictions it creates now have to be refereed by the judiciary.

Awfully useful if you've captured the judiciary, isn't it?
