this doesn't seem like a big problem. If you get cancelled and are out of work without UBI, you are in the same bind.

You might be more open thinking UBI backstops you and then you find out that it doesn't. Like finding out that a parachute doesn't work after you've been thrown off a plane. Either way, the same incentives exist with UBI as all gibs - they go to only progressive pets.

The gib with the word "Universal" in the name is like the absolute hardest one to politically control and give to pets.

it's not impossible, but I don't see how any other stuff fares better.

It doesn't - which is why arguing over "policy" is pointless. The only thing that matters is structure and the structure of liberal democracy guarantees certain outcomes - trying to design policies to get other outcomes is pointless because the policies get subverted.

I think there should be restructuring that im sure you'd agree with, but if that sid already happen, would you support a UBI for that kind of America? We should distinguish between a policy I want in ideal-world and a policy I want for observed-world

There is no restructuring USG to give out UBI - USG will *never* give money to ordinary white people - both out of interest and religious conviction that they are responsible for all evil in the world. If you replace USG then the whole world is different and UBI is moot.

Like, should Japan do UBI? If you wanted to advise them?

Japan has huge problems already that won't be solved as long as they're functionally occupied by USG. USG's ideology on sexual relations makes it impossible for Eurasians to form the LT bonds needed for the species to produce children Japanese cannot reproduce under those rules

The fertility graph is stark - change the laws and culture post 1945 and the first wave of women raised under the new rules simply doesn't reproduce - fertility drops off a cliff a few years after
