Bioleninism has it exactly backwards. You become a eunuch to demonstrate your loyalty, not because you can't do anything else.

This is, again backwards. Signaling loyalty is universal. Expensive signaling is always valued more than cheap signaling, and BL fails to demonstrate why it is a special case. All religions give status to those who demonstrate loyalty.

Two differences: There are groups that don't have to signal loyalty - they're assumed to be loyal (and this actually works) Someone applying for membership doesn't demonstrate loyalty to anyone in particular - he demonstrates loyalty to the ideals by making himself deformed
