Contrary to what guys like Hines think, the 20th century left also had / was gaining memetic sovereignty; liberalism's roots are considerably deeper than that. That they also faced physical opposition does not change this.https://twitter.com/CovfefeAnon/status/1290707714822332416 …

Yes, he loves to talk about the 60s, but they had effective academic and legal support predating that, and look where they ended up! Smart "righties" don't attempt to organise the way leftists do because they know what will happen if they try.

Frustration and inability to see this (stupidity) is part of how we end up with the active right ish groups all being like At*mwaff*en, etc. Three PF guys for arrested the other day for slapping anti-drug stickers on public signs, ffs.

I gave sht to Hines a number of times for this before he finally blocked me a while back. Found it so frustrating. Yeah, lefty labor organizers were suppressed by the army 100 years ago. It's not the same for us today though. Our task is almost impossible.

The right faces the almost unique problem of the Overton Window (applies to the left in some form too but it's not near as harsh for them). Social pressure and loss of employment are extremely powerful forces to control people. Rightists can literally get disowned by family.
