I agree with your analysis here but wonder if it's just pushing the problem back. The "lockdown" was effective but unsustainable to get cases to 0 so at some point we were going to have to end it and trace and quarantine - which is impossible for progs to do. 1/2

People protested the lockdown and that was good - but then progs wanted race riots to get out the black vote so they couldn't blame the outbreaks on the protests. So they pushed masks (reasonable) it hit resistance. I think they would keep pushing *something* until resistance.

Then blame the resistance on the last step for the whole thing which was caused by the insanity and incompetence of the whole public health and epidemiology sector.

Their game is to make it so people - who already don't want to believe that the system is broken beyond repair - have some reason to latch onto that avoids letting them admit the obvious "If only people wore masks" - if that failed there'd be another tryhttps://twitter.com/CovfefeAnon/status/1238996247534501895 …

They're never going to give up and go home - the only real hope is that there's a preference cascade when their insanity escalates and becomes more and more dangerous to the functionaries while simultaneously the story about how they prevent disasters grows more and more absurd
