You don't even need to go that far. You see differences between wolves and coyotes? Same genetic distance or less than continental sized human populations. Wolves and coyotes can interbreed, too. (As can lions and tigers, polar bears and brown bears, zebras and horses, etc.)
Subspecies can interbreed but their offspring are sterile (i.e. tigers and lions -> ligers). Since that is not true of humans, they're not subspecies. Enjoying genetic diversity isn't sufficient to justify racist interpretations of biology.
There are dozens of species that can interbreed to produce fertile offspring - including wolves and coyotes which have a genetic fst of 0.153 and yet are classified as separate species.
