6. And you know what? If a real scientific mechanism were ever found, people would just accept it. At the end of the day science is science. I oppose racist speculation, not valid science.

@primalpoly unblocked me just so he could show off his commitment to “good-faith disagreement” as they said in the Harpers letter. I’m not going to get into a shouting match with him.https://twitter.com/primalpoly/status/1280951697792065536?s=20 …Eric Turkheimer added,

9. I am no environmentalist, no heritability denier, and never have been. Geoffrey Miller may not know it, but a scientifically realistic, non-racist, non-deterministic view of BG is perfectly possible. /end

lss I mean that statistical heritability does not imply the existence of genes that closely constrain phenotypes across a wide variety of environments

FWIW, I've argued for an anti-determinist version of evolutionary psych & behavior genetics since 1997, based on the evolutionary game theory of protean behavior. https://www.primalpoly.com/s/1997-protean-primates.pdf … Weird how you assume that anyone who disagrees with you is a 'genetic determinist'.

The suggestion that it is "racist" to think that genes contribute to group differences is as silly as the suggestion that it is "sexist" to think that genes contribute to sex differences. It's a lamentable tactic that people who don't like certain hypotheses use to smear others.

That is sexist though. Once you open the door to noticing sex differences you have to actually notice what those differences are and that's extremely sexist.
