The traditional Church understands what a threat BLM is; "satanic organisation" is not literally true, but it's a good intuition pump; think of Satan as an egregore that represents everything anti-order & anti-civilization. https://twitter.com/rooshv/status/1275966960522706945 …

Serious question: What is the difference between the "Satan" egregore of the Abrahamic religions, and the "Moloch" we talk about?
-
In my head they are similar, but Moloch is more "pure", he is the D-D square in a prisoner's dilemma, whereas Satan is an impure idea, that's more informed by the specifics of the human condition.

I think one issue here, ontologically speaking, is that it doesn't seem you're valuing collections of entities as highly as 'atomic' entities. Starbucks is the collection of all of those stores, and logos, and employees (at minimum, it also arguably contains all the perceptions

of those things which is stored as information in human brains, for example). Then, over that collection of entities, there's probably a semantic distribution as some entities are more important than others. That's what I think is the nature of many 'things'.
