Aristotle argued that women were defective humans and some folks were natural slaves. Yet, I teach Aristotle and label my own views broadly Aristotelian. It is possible to appreciate what is true and good while discarding what is false, people.

Ok, he thought the women who were menstruating shot a fine mist of blood out of their eyes when they looked in the mirror. Pretty weird! And pretty dumb!

Seems implausible to me but I'll have to see some peer reviewed studies before I can come to any conclusions.
