The US needs egalitarianism because it is diverse. But the present situation is a weird one where the SJW left have created an inegalitarian system of racial, sexual and gender privilege, the best person is a trans gay black woman, the worst is a straight white man.

Given enough time, the present SJW movement will break the USA because it will break the egalitarian ideals the USA was founded on (the idea that a person's race doesn't matter, only their personal choices).

That wasn't even close to the ideal that the US was founded on - it's just where the free energy to burn things and rob the place in the ensuing chaos was.

That's true, the original US was an explicitly racial state for white people, but AFAIK they treated all white people equally.

But I think the principle is important - it's a country where people were supposed to treat each other as individuals rather than discriminate based on ethnicity or religion (religious wars were very destructive in Europe at the time!)

That's backwards projecting the current view to then. At the time it was seen as a union of sovereign states; Massachusetts had it's own state church and was ethnically distinct from Virginia.

We actually did try that; Yarvin pointed out that what you think of as patriotic America from the 50s with the eagle aesthetics and stars and stripes shields on things was the artificial creation with no real history and that America also broke down nearly instantly.
