Not capital, no. Capital is not part of the Cathedral. It has been in a subservient position for a long time. Days when big business owners had armies of hired thugs are a century in the past. Business is extremely vulnerable to state action (and inaction) and to legal threats. >

and affirmative-action requirements are a huge drag overall, forcing businesses to maintain expensive and growing H/PR and legal departments. However, the bigger the entity, the more okay it is with all this, because it is better able to bear the burdens than smaller competitors.

Sure, but no big baker will risk trying to not make cakes. Exceptions are rara avis. Chick-fil-A was humiliated and forced to do penance just for donating to the wrong groups, not for anything so blatant as refusing to serve alphabet-soup customers.

Disagree on Zuck; what really happened with him testifying in Congress was the Cathedral sending a message - "hey, better not disobey our agents in your org who want to stamp out thoughtcrime or things will happen to you"
