It shows how many have the antibodies. But how many fought it off without the need for new antibodies, and how many Spanish are susceptible to the virus in the first place? I am getting the impression from this crisis that the science of immunity is still rather young. Fair?
There's zero evidence for your "what if". There's a virus; it's hit upon a formula to reproduce in human cells that all humans happen to share and it does. Maybe there's some tiny subpopulation that's immune and they'll be found through study after this thing spreads everywhere

Well the fact that infection rates are so variable within countries is one piece of evidence. It might be explained by randomness, uneven seeding events and lockdowns. Or it might be explained by one of the myriad things scientists don’t yet understand.
