How is there less demand for food?!?
Increased supply? How? Why? The oil thing makes sense; less use of energy of all kinds. TP makes sense - more use of home TP, none of commercial TP. Dumping food? Dumping milk? How?

Restaurants are closing so that shifts demand to food processing plants and supermarkets; if they're pouring out milk that is normally being drunk or made in to cheese then people are eating less Apply that to the whole country and it means starvation? Eating private stockpiles?

Different foods are used at restaurants and for domestic consumption. More like the TP problem.

There's a flipside to that though - where are the farmers that can't keep up with excess demand? Where are the bare supermarket shelves?
