Well then keep your fucking hucksters out of our government. Some of us are capable of seeing and appreciating the difference between good governance and bad.

This is representative of the thinking of the people who you think are capable of providing good governance: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/27/opinion/china-wuhan-virus-quarantine.html …

I'm sorry, I didn't realize that the author of that article was the governor of New York.

No, not the governor - the "reasonable experts" that have a consensus that must be obeyed or you're anti-science - which is unthinkable. These are the people Trump ignored to cut air travel from China - who excoriated him for it.

Try to stick with me. Your argument is that government doesn't work because it's infected by progressive experts who argue that quarantines are bad, etc.

But it is very clear that: 1) These voices are a tiny minority of experts 2) Their policies are not being implemented by blue state governments Therefore, exposing your entire argument are what we in the business call "horseshit."

If progressivism is so widespread and dangerous then we'd see it in the actual implementation of these bad policies! But we're not. So where's the proof?

Yes, racism is bad. But, again, if this was caused by progressivism, why have blue governments moved faster than red governments pretty much universally?

You need to explain that or your entire argument is bullshit. If our problems are caused by progressivism then why have blue states taken actions that you claim are against progressive arguments and why have blue states moved faster?

Blue states were the sites of the outbreaks because of their own stupid progressive policies "hug a Chinese day", "don't miss out on the Chinese new year parade". They reacted to the predictable consequence because those consequences hit fast.
