If you’re an abled/non-immunocopromised person, and you are buying up respiratory masks right now? You’re knowingly putting disabled people at risk to feed your unfounded panic. I’m not going to mince words about that. This is a moral issue. This is a neighbor-love issue.

There is a shortage of available supplies right now. If you are abled/non-immunocopromised, loving your neighbor means working to ensure that people who are *actually* at risk if they catch this virus have access to the supplies *first.*

Watching this panic unfold has been verrrrry revealing of the broken theologies of much of the white American church. The idea that you are *more* responsible to protect your “own family” above your neighbors? Whew. That golden calf of yours may actually get people killed.
