: "I see. So your overall point is that the 'feminists' are actually correct in their most central thesis that Blueprinter Hierarchies evolve to exclude Makers from positions of power, but the true explanation for this phenomenon is rarely stated?"

: "Feminism would make more sense if it just said that Makers are better at leading than Blueprinters in your modern age. Talking about equality between the genders is a logical misstep, though I can see that it might have been a politically expedient falsehood to gain power"1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -
Another artifact of the Blueprinter / Maker dichotomy is that Makers are adapted to persuasion disconnected from any connection to reality since Makers are safely insulated from reality by Blueprinters who cannot get so disconnected that they can't fight off competing 'printers.

All humans are social and so prone to disconnect from reality in favor of "social reality" but Blueprinters are subject to checks on this tendency - other groups of competing 'printers who can take possession of their groups' Makers (after the first groups' 'printers are dead)

Even the concept of a group having a leader is a advanced social technology. The evolutionary history of the species isn't between divided between Maker led groups and 'printer led groups - it's between 'printer led groups and leaderless groups that are more like schools of fish

The research you read points to this transition. Groups stopped merely following prey animals and sticking together for safety and began to operate on a more cohesive, cooperative basis *because they were forced to by competition*

Before *something* happened you had groups moving around, skirmishing in a non-systemic way - a clash here or there - then BAM - a massive phase shift where a few groups started acting like a *team* - which forced other groups to do the same (or die)pic.twitter.com/dicFTUG1jO

The thing is though that Blueprinter brains carry the genetic legacy of this bottleneck because they were being ruthlessly culled for survival under those conditions but Maker brains weren't and so are still running an older code base.

: It is true that tribal warfare and Blueprinter-on-Blueprinter violence shaped Blueprinter psychology.
: However working out the net effect of that shaping for the question of whether more Makers should or should not be in leadership positions is difficult1 reply 0 retweets 1 like - Show replies
