As technology improves everything will become a technical task. The night will be patrolled by police drones that will deter muggers. However I do think that the left part can make the task difficult for that right tail, perhaps to the point where it does become impossible.

If the right tail was really in charge and had a long-termist perspective they would use eugenics/gene editing to lift everyone up since that's a +sum game. The fact that eugenics is taboo in our society is a strong indication that we're in a lot of trouble.

Competent long-termists like Lee Kuan Yew actually tried it, but the left hit back and stopped it. Perhaps an important way to make society better is to allow the most competent and earnest long-termists to coordinate better and try new things without molestation.

The most important way to make society better is to grant ownership title to a family that can command the loyalty of soldiers and to

the people who are ideologically committed to destroying any long-termists.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

The helicopter is not necessary or justified. It's enough to peacefully remove bad people from power.

You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you. Why would people in power agree to be peacefully removed? Moldbug says because we can offer them a better financial deal to take a cut of a new, better government but that ignores human nature.

Once out of power people will want revenge on them and an accounting of crimes committed by them (and boy are there a lot). They know this, they know you know this, etc. Or as Hillary is reported to have said "If that f-----’ bastard wins, we’re all going to hang from nooses!"

You're looking at the literal outcome (and it's not over yet) rather than what she perceived as the situation she was facing. As she's a rational actor the latter is the important part.
