      I don't recall any stereotypes from when I was young in the 1960s and 1970s about the Dutch being tall. I visited the Netherlands in 1965, so I was interested in the Dutch, but never heard about them being tall until the 1990s.

      I believe there are studies that prove your statement. But these studies claimed it had to do with nutrients if I remember well. Americans were better fed the last century.
