We have logic, which we can use to understand reality. To understand it is to harness it. It wasn't emotions or violence that answered our deepest questions and gave us unprecedented mastery over our environment.

As defective as you are for promoting sociopathic behavior? If your ideas need the threat of violence to back them, they're terrible ideas that deserve to be forgotten. I don't need violence to support my ideas. The state does. let that sink in.

>If your ideas need the threat of violence to back them, they're terrible ideas that deserve to be forgotten. How about "I own this"? Usually libertarians get that there are at least some ideas that need to be backed by force.

I don't need violence to demonstrate that I own something. I am expected to defend myself and my possessions. Self-defense exists in a negative context. Coercion does not. I cannot violate the rights of another person by defending myself and my possessions.

No one said anything about "violating the rights of another person" - just that you're threatening violence - because you are. The brain drain from libertarianism is pretty severe.
