Australian Aborigines have excellent visual memory and their visual cortex is 25% larger than Europeans. It would be interesting to know why that is. @gcochran99

Not really, but also no reason to jump so quickly to a genetic explanation

I don't know. But there's no reason to think that genetics is the only possible answer.

They have lower cranial capacities, too. Also genetic of course.

"of course" is a favorite phrase of yours, I'm guessing.

I'm curious what possible *non* genetic cause could result in smaller cranial capacities. "Hearing mean things makes your skull grow smaller" is the alternative and is insane.

That's actually not the alternative and you'd have to be an idiot to think otherwise.

Ah, must be really tight fitting hats then. Unless you have a better non genetic explanation...

Ah yes, the type of nutrition that leaves you taller and heavier and more likely to become a pro athlete but leaves you with a smaller skull! Of course! Just check the skull sizes of NBA players and you'll find that this doesn't hold.

Are there a lot of Aboriginal Australians in the NBA? I guess I haven't watched a game recently.

You may have noticed that it's full of a demographic that *must* be malnourished by your hypothesis. Somehow their nutritional deficits only show up in skull volume - such a bizarre mystery.
