I was getting a bit too complacent feeling like the game was just a sandbox where it was impossible to lose, and leaving it on in the background, and then started to have the rating falling from not enough bathrooms, vandalism, litter and other issues.

I'd like to find the wiseguy busting my nice $5 benches and give him a piece of my mind...

Why does park value depreciate over time when all of the accounting seems to be purely cash flow basis?

"Guest X is lost and can't find the park exit" - well what do you want me to do about it? Look, I'm not even trying to confuse them; just trying to add rides and get visitors to them. Not my problem if they chose not to buy a map at the kiosk right at the bloody entrance.

Is this credit line just totally unlimited? 2% annual interest and all the money I want to borrow; I love this financial universe!

Also, I can block off a river and because water doesn't flow in this world it's no problem (not to mention no Corps of Engineers nuking me for the audacity) ; these water physics (or lack thereof) make Dwarf Fortress's water seem lifelike!

Evergreen Gardens is such a weird map. "Let's give you a beautiful park which you'll have to cut to pieces if you want to build anything. Also, your guests will be constantly lost, so your rides hardly even get anyone reaching them."pic.twitter.com/MiJmO4iEca

My OCD leading to me micromanaging my handymen in cleaning up litter and vomit seems to be resulting in high guest ratings. I think I'm learning a bad lesson here about good management or perhaps my previous approaches have been all wrong.

Keep that "this program was written in assembly" thing in mind when pondering whether or not to learn appropriate levels of delegation from his program.

Ha! That's a connection I hadn't thought of. The thing is a masterpiece even though in some ways it's very dated / limited (no fast forward ; have to wait for given time to elapse even if objectives hit earlier ; various others). Does show some strengths of micromanagement.
