Yes, Europeans are more K selected - which is a measure of *paternal* investment in offspring as more or less the result of feedback loops and environmental conditions. None of that changes that women are under much less harsh selection than men.
The example is from Iberia. The pattern repeats everywhere where there was Steppe nomad introgression - i.e., all over Europe (with minor exceptions) It's incredibly well documented genetically - as well as culturally. Hint: what happened to the women of Troy?
