The SJW have made a cottage industry of using emotionally loaded catastrophizing language to intimidate people into political submission to their agenda. Everyone is always “traumatized”, a “survivor”, “literally dying” in response to say mild verbal criticism or accurate news

in a funny way that’s why some of the complaints about the younger generations being unusually soft and weak are off-base — overstates how much of the claimed trauma is genuine and not just played up for fun/status/power

Exactly this. They've *heard* about trauma, they've experienced the thrill of power. Both are powerful emotions so to make themselves better at obtaining the latter they translate one to and sincerely believe one is the other.
