We need to ban gasoline-powered vehicles and rely on power lines to charge electric cars, because what have electric power lines ever done to harm the environment?

It *looks* exactly like the state has puppeted the nominally private energy company and used it to enrich state officials and their relatives at the expense of the actual business because that's what's happened. It doesn't look like they're dictating rules to the state.

Yeah, nothing he said contradicted my post. If PGE stopped paying a dividend, their stock would crater and the company would likely death spiral. And given Cali's regulatory environment, no other utility companies would likely want to enter the market.https://twitter.com/FrantizekPaul/status/1190548812093370368?s=20 …

He thinks "they're greedy and want profits" explains why they don't maintain the infrastructure. Hint: they're a power company and they sell electricity - having blackouts is lost money for them unless they're selling electricity at a loss. If it's the latter that's the issue.
