Taking this convo seriously, to prove your point, you'd have to show that (1) women who don't sub-consciously want domination DO have guns and (2) women who do DON'T have guns. In reality, "liberalism" is about a 95% predictor of being effectively armed.
Still? Survey data is useless when women say they like *this* but only until *this other point* but *act as if* there is no point past which they stop liking that behavior.

The problem with this argument is that it is methodologically nonsensical. You are defining things like "not having a gun" or "walking outside" as "acting like she wants it," while ignoring other behaviors like carrying three cans of Mace.

To actually test this - which I might DO: I get methods ideas off the net all the time - you would have to see whether the 50% or so of women who enjoy occasional domination as per surveys or brain scans carry guns less than the 50% or so who do not. I'd bet no difference.

I've been thinking a lot about the methodological problems with evo psych and it comes down to this: The only way to actually measure this stuff is if sex actually happens. Sincere anger, fear, interest, hate, lust, all of it is meaningless compared to action.
