What makes you think women want to win fights? Apply game theory and evolutionary thinking - women don't want to win fights, they merely don't want to lose to weak men.https://twitter.com/wil_da_beast630/status/1180136669556695040 …
Question begging. You claim those behaviors are the result of women sincerely trying to avoid "rape" I claim that those behaviors are filters intended to test men for courage and propensity to ignore social convention and rules (status markers in women's minds)

I'm curious about whether you really believe this. First, are you male or female?
-
Man. I've seen enough of women's sexuality in my life to have an understanding of it and yes, I entirely believe it.

My own take -as an experienced, good looking investor with a PhD- is that many women do enjoy the fantasy or sim experience of being dominated. Data shows a substantially smaller number want this in reality. A FAR smaller number want it from a mildly retarded street thug with HIV

Given the two qualifiers I just added, an obvious probable reason women carry Mace in dangerous areas or travel in groups is that they DON'T want to be raped at will by dangerous scumbags, whatever some one-off fantasy might be.

I also don't see how a gun would change your hypothetical scenario. Even assuming any of what you say is true, an S&W 9mm could REALLY sort out the men from the boys! To hell with pepper spray! In reality, age, politics, etc. predict gun ownership.

It's too good at the job so it's a bad tool for what she wants. She wants a gun that fires bullets that only pierce the heart of weak men.pic.twitter.com/Rg6IEauaPW

It's almost tempting to ask you to test this (DON'T, actually, man). If you bum-rushed a MACE toting Chicago riot grrrl and tried to kiss her, do you think she'd actually be overcome with joy at your savage masculinity?
-
Ya see, there's a confound here. I'm from an ethnic / racial group that has multiple total Y chromosome replacement events in our past. Men of those groups are selected for cooperation with other men. Given that rushing women in that way doesn't come off as sincere.
