and there's a good chance that I will never reach the target. I'm 48 now. Not peak age for adding 80 lbs to a whole-body / compound lift. But going after it anyway. ONWARD.

My old man strength theory is that you're losing ground is all other physical areas faster than strength (speed, agility, reaction time) so as you get older in relative terms you're stronger compared to someone of a comparable fitness level
