Here's the wikipedia page on the scandal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_House_FBI_files_controversy … Amusingly it appears that the page is being edited by the guy who pulled the files in the first placepic.twitter.com/DIqY1p5M2p
We've learned over the intervening years that a lot of behind the scenes stuff goes in Washington due to mutual blackmail. Ron Unz put together a well documented write-up here: http://www.unz.com/runz/american-pravda-john-mccain-jeffrey-epstein-and-pizzagate/ …
Put Hillary's pulling of the FBI files in that context. Once all the compromised people know she has the FBI files you have to suspect that she knows your secrets even if you're not entirely sure that the FBI found out - you can't afford to take that chance.
Now, think of Epstein as the FBI files - a source of leverage over all kinds of people in powerful positions. If you rose to real power off the back of that, do you think you're going to let a rival pull the exact same move?
You know that move works, you know just how many people are compromised and what they'll do if you have leverage.
