I think you've got it fundamentally backwards. Leftism the ideology is "whatever gives leftists power". Leftists stick together and when allocating power their rule is "give it to the most leftist". 1/

None of this stuff works, though, in private. It's always playing to the gallery. You might trick someone once, but when they find out, they will just reverse. Unless they're publicly committed to the justification of their decision -- then they're stuck.

None of it works in private which is why progs have an allergy to private decision making - it eliminates virtue signalling as a route to power The memes are there to confuse people into not retaliating for defecting on the group - it's not really defection, it's cooperation!
