@Steve_Sailer argued somewhat persuasively that of the set of women irresponsible enough to get pregnant unintentionally the ones who abort will be the more responsible, forward thinking ones
No idea which effect predominates

I'm against it as it is one leg of the stool that makes the sexual revolution and its destruction of the family and old marital norms possible. Abortion, STD fixes/cures, contraception- take these away and the feminist regime cannot hold, TFR will be restored.

My view is that support for abortion is downstream culturally of the sexual revolution Women in our society want to signal support for abortion rights (as well as having the panic button in case she later finds out he's not as attractive as she thought)

In a healthy society women would want to be seen as maternal and would sooner announce they had a sexually transmitted disease than admit to supporting abortion It's a "coup-complete problem"

Collapse of some sort must occur and inter-sexual relations 'reset' before we can fix things? I don't know if there's a historical example of a society undoing the damage of this sort of liberalization -without- a collapse.

It's not even so much collapse that solves the problem but conquest Female liberation means your society can't fight but the tribe that conquers you won't have liberated women Too bad about the "total Y chromosome replacement" but it happens all the time in human historypic.twitter.com/GmmmvkdaJd

Collapse solves it by forcing conquest one way or the other, then. It's still conquest if it is us reconquering our own women by hook or by crook as the material conditions that enable the endless orgy come to a close.

Also your chart makes me feel Chad as can be, I swear. Shit's bleak, but surely not -that- bleak.

It's a simplification Women don't act *exactly* like that - they act worse They'll sleep with lower guys just to induce competition among their suitors hoping to move up to a higher guy They also don't know the exact rankings so they have to test themselves and men out

Women's constant testing of all the men around them is *very* disruptive to group cohesion

You're broadly right, particularly in a mainstream culture context.

Specifically wrong enough for me to have to say something, of course. But broadly right.
