I wonder how long it'll take for humankind to come to terms with the fact that we all share a planet. That the only borders are those that exist inside our minds, and those we create with the rules and regulations we inflict upon ourselves.

What'll protect us from other humans are not nations, borders and armies, but a realisation that we're all in this together. That tribalism stopped being useful around the time we ceased being hunter-gatherers.

Nah, it's fine - her genes are smart enough to know that she has no stake in tribal warfare because they'll get passed on as children made with the winners This is why she can blithely take this position in the first place
