Isn't that a way around the market of ideas? Let's say that the fora are in the hands of a few corporations (they are) and that those corporations are ideologically vested in suppressing viewpoints they disagree with (they are) Even in theory, the market can't solve this 3/

SO WHAT? Controlling the entire discourse is valuable because controlling the terms of discussion is power in a democratic system. People aren't motivated by money - they're motivated by mating and power is much more important than money for mating 5/
