Posters began appearing around the school site 6 months ago: "It's Ok to Be White." He said they stayed up for weeks without any school pushback. I thought he was exaggerating. Then I saw one on an assistant head's desk.

The school have tried to counter it. They ramped up gender discussions. They invited a holocaust survivor in to shift the discussion. My kid told the assistant head it won't make any difference. He's right.
