Each month Rights of Passage holds a Community Dinner; these dinners allow our youth, staff and special guests to come together as a community. It also helps us teach our young people life skills such as cooking & the importance of eating healthy food.

Yovanni was shot & killed in his home in Asbury Park, NJ, last week. He was our neighbor. He was 10. 46 children & teens are shot in America every day & 7 of them die. Every. Single. Day. We should be moving heaven and earth to come together to save our children.

After finding his mom overdosed, Matthew faced homelessness. Many doors closed on him. He’s safe now . Though felt alone, he wasn’t: 1 in 30 teens 13 to 17 are homeless each year. We can make a better America for kids. It’s just a matter of our values & priorities.

Our friends at took 10 of our youth out onto the slopes of Whistler for a day of skiing and snowboarding. It was a blast and definitely an experience the young people won't soon forget. Thank you so much for the amazing adventure!

I love the goodness this day reveals. Guardian angels placed these treats on each of the kids' beds tonight. Before they sleep, young people will read cards with this message: "You are special. You are wanted. You are loved. You are found." May we all hear and feel that today.
