Why are these deaths being counted now and not on the previous appropriate reports??

Probably a lag in reporting, tests were done after death (thus not as high priority as for the living), etc.

The way I understand it, it's because kids don't spread it to kids. They don't have enough viral load. If kids get it, they're getting it from home.
