"I actively made the choice to watch a video of a comedian I knew was offensive even though I hate being offended and, would you believe, I was offended?" "I dove into the ocean even though I hate being wet would you believe I got wet? Outrageous. Ban the sea".

I'm almost certain 98% of the people bitching about this louis skit haven't even watched it and have just heard he said the naughty stuff and are jumping on the outrage bandwagon to be a good little npc

These people like to be the victim, to stay the victim they put themselves into situations where they can be "victimised" and once "victimised" they can complain about it. Their whole existence is to be offended and to be the victim.
-
They live for that shit man. It's bewildering.

Tbh I think a lot of the outrage is because he's shifted directly to pandering to a different crowd, going from the more edgy leftists to straight up milo-tier "lol 2 genders get owned libs xd"crowd. He's also always had quite an art to setups for jokes, this one just seemed lazy
-
I haven't heard the video, but I am quite certain the backlash is because "edgy leftists" no longer exist. ~2014 started a shift in "offense taking" and that's why the left is constantly now the 'side' complaining about "problematic" comedy, when it used to be the Puritan right.

Making fun of the youth is a long-standing theme in comedy. But again I have to listen to it first to judge if it's hack. But that aside, stand up comedy can only be developed & tested live in front of an audience. Maybe the joke is in its early stages & he's still working it out
-
Which is almost certainly the case by the way, since a joke basically isn't fine tuned until the day it's recorded on a special, and it takes like a year and a half to develop.

I remember when Billy Connolly streaked through Leicester Square for Comic Relief. All bloody night they went on 'If we reach [X target], we'll play the footage. Change channel if you don't want to see it. Seriously.' Still got loads of complaints lol. Some people are just dim.

Well, I'm the same, in reverse. I actively seek out the crap the far left does, I know it will offend me, but I make no exceptions for racism and obey their rules to the letter. I am an unadulterated asshole and I'm never bored, thanks to their circus antics
