    This is one of the weirder and more convoluted parts of the gun debate. I wrote about this 5 years ago when a guy in rural PA who couldn’t buy guns decided to make one to kill cops with it (fortunately, he unpromptedly told them about his plan beforehand)

    One of the proposed rules: treating ghost guns, basically unfinished gun kits people can mill into a working weapon without a background check or serial number, like we treat finished weapons. I wrote about this a while back:

    Also on GBH, Janey says the city will “crack down” on fireworks as we get closer to the summer. Huge issue last year through June and July around town

    It sounds like Acting mayor Kim Janey is indicating she's open to a hybrid model school committee. She's emphasizing stakeholder participation saying the decision is not something that should be designated "from on high."
