To be fair, it is no different in usage than mass simulating metal flown on the 1st Delta IV Heavy/H-IIA, or on multiple early flights of Ariane 5, or the 1 successful flight of Delta III etc. It's just that no one use a car for that purpose & send it to heliocentric orbit. ;)
I do agree it does not belong in the planetary exploration spacecraft section though.
