There's a bit of Dragon CRS-2 vibes with this (which was 8 years ago...wow), though I have to wonder if this is related to the lagging LD call outs in Russian in the last minute of Proton powered flight that cumulated to the S/C sep. call out went missing. Probably not, but...
Checking past history though, the Soviets/Russians did have enough problems of space station modules en route to stations in history, 3 of Mir's 5 big modules have had serious problems before docking!

* Kvant-1 (Apr. 1987) - 1st docking attempt aborted at just 10 m off station; 2nd attempt failed to hard dock requiring cosmonauts to do emergency EVA, finding debris that clogged docking port that was cleared
* Kvant-2 (Dec. 1989) - one solar array failed to deploy for some time, eventually shaken off; 1st docking attempt aborted while Mir had attitude control problems due to computer failure & module approached too fast
* Priroda (Apr. 1996) - half of battery power of module (w/ no solar arrays) lost en route due to electrical connector failure, would not have enough power to do go-around should that be required
