Checking past history though, the Soviets/Russians did have enough problems of space station modules en route to stations in history, 3 of Mir's 5 big modules have had serious problems before docking! (thanks to

* Kvant-2 (Dec. 1989) - one solar array failed to deploy for some time, eventually shaken off; 1st docking attempt aborted while Mir had attitude control problems due to computer failure & module approached too fast
