So it turns out that there is indeed a Japanese who bought the Space Adventures seat to the ISS on Soyuz MS-20 late this year.
It's not the previously rumored choices, but @yousuck2020 & his assistant!
(Why not Dragon though given Starship deal?

Dragon has a lot of flights booked, no way in hell he’d be able to secure a seat on dragon in the near term Soyuz has seats available though

I would even prefer Soyuz over Dragon for now - as the experience is not that much different to decades ago
