You act like China's inability to achieve staging on a Heavy rocket is a good thing...

Hmm, what I meant is that this thing is BIG. 30+ meters long and 5 meters diameter. And for some reason the Chinese didn't thought of adding methods to de-orbit this big reinforced tank, by propellant venting or RCS/solid retro-rockets.

To me is astonishing to see them launching a massive payload with only a single stage and 4 strap-ons.

It's because the boosters are little launchers in their own right, also used individually as the Long March CZ-7 core stage.

But some of it should burn on re-entry? It's not going to fall intact, or all of the debris in the same place right?
-
We can expect that somewhere between 10-50% of the mass will survive to ground impact, over a swath up to 1000 km long and 100 km wide

The stage itself will break up pretty rapidly, leaving only tiny shreds of slowly-falling debris, but the helium COPVs from the LOX tank and the two 3-tonne engines will reach the surface intact. Those engines will impact at a little over Mach 1.
