100ms ping isn't that bad.
I always feel a slight cringe whenever @SpaceX talks about LEO satellites having lower latency for....online games.

I mean beta testers have seen latencies of 30-40 ms in-game, with the floor potentially dropping to sub-10 ms.

There are also several conversions going on there. Starlink uses a proprietary internal protocol that has to be converted at the end user’s base station to IP protocol and at interfaces with the Internet. That adds to the lag.

I think it will find that customer niche for example, people in Asia who want to play on US servers but will have like 300 ping with normal broadband internet.
