BTW @ZplusC1Bst do you think Space One can really get to flight testing within the next year? Isn't their planned launch site near Wakayama still waiting for local government/environmental approval?

Not much choices on the table if I'm going to align my Japan visiting plans w/ any launch till Q1 2022 - 2 H-IIA (QZS-1R, Inmarsat 6-F1), 1 Epsilon (RAPIS-2) & the 1st H3 (ALOS-3) which seems tough as the LE-9 main engine is still in test firing.https://twitter.com/ZplusC1Bst/status/1343737718040272896?s=19 …

From a Japanese perspective, 5 orbital launches in a year is a very good year! I hope you would be able to come after the panedmic is over. Tanegashima is an island with less than dozen beds capable of handling COVID-19 patients, so I am currently refraining from going there.

Well, I don't think I can go there until at least Q2, possibly Q3 next year anyway, your (& effectively our) borders are currently closed.

As for H3, JAXA basically dumped type 1 LE-9 design which was only to be used for the original 1st (2020) launch, and now focuses on type 2 design which was meant for 2nd (2021) and later launches. I am optimisitc that they can make in FY 2021 (by March 2022).
