What I think really matters for this #Starship flight is assuming someone can get it to cis-lunar space right now, after learning from this flight, I can relatively trust this thing *as is, SN9* to land it on the Moon & back to Gateway/lunar orbit.
Launching from Earth though...

It's not the launch, it's the landing.
Yeah they will have to stick it for SN9's next flight, and I'm sure it needs a lot more tweaking for the fine precision movements near the surface to make it a good robotic lander, never mind people (which is still years away). Still that's quite s/t that was demonstrated today.

"have to" ? euh. The way Elon is iterating, he could probably go through SN11 without fretting too much. It would have been nice to have narration on the flight events up and down.
